The San Antonio Public Library will celebrate Latinos and Latinos in public service this year as it honors the diversity and rich cultural heritage of the Alamo City during Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 – October 15.

San Antonio’s First Original StoryWalk to Premiere

The children’s book “All Around Us”, authored by former San Antonio Public Library employee Xelena González, will be presented in a public art format and celebrated in multiple library programs.

Although our summer Play & Learn programs are done, there's still lots of summer fun available with the San Antonio Public Library!

San Antonio Public Library Locations are Voter Registration Sites

San Antonio Public Library is reminding the community that as a nonpartisan, trusted institution, and in accordance with the state Election Code, all 27 San Antonio Public Library locations are designated as voter registration agencies.  Every person of voting age, who applies in person for an original or renewal of a library card, will be given an opportunity to complete a voter registration application form. Already have a library card? Patrons can still register to vote at any location.
