Construction Update:

Scope: Construction of a new branch library on the former Mission Drive-In site

Status:
The construction began February 25, 2010, and earth-moving, grading and drainage for the complete site, parking lot and roads are underway. Piers for the library building foundation and flooring beams have been installed. Pre-stressed concrete planks for the floor will be installed in two weeks and then the steel structural members will be erected. There have been some rain delays but completion is still on schedule for spring 2011.
