Construction Update:

Scope: Construction of a new 15,000 -square-foot branch library

Status:
The notice to proceed was given to the contractor on March 4, 2010, and mobilization for the site work began. The foundation structures and flooring are completed and the structural steel erection is in progress for walls and roof. Installation of base material for the roads and parking areas is in progress. In August all of the concrete curbing for the roads and parking areas will be installed, and in September the asphalt for those areas will be laid. There have been some rain delays but completion is still on schedule for spring 2011.
